For all you peanut butter lover’s here is a quick and easy recipe for your sweet tooth

  • 1 Frozen pie shell
  • 1 box – French vanilla or Vanilla pudding
  • ¾ c. sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 TBLSP.sugar
  • ½ tsp. cream of tartar
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake pie shell according to baking directions until golden brown. Cool completely. Prepare the pudding mix according to “pie” directions on side of box, set aside. Combine the peanut butter and the sifted powdered sugar until completely mixed. It will be thick. Spread peanut butter mixture into the bottom of the pie shell. Add Pudding mixture onto of peanut butter mixture.

Whip egg whites with mixer adding cream of tartar and sugar. Whip until peaks appear. Apply meringue on top of pie and broil until meringue is golden. Allow meringue to cool completely than put pie into refrigerator to chill thoroughly. When completely chilled slice and enjoy.
